Inspired by the universe and the fascinating work of the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus (in Latin), whom for centuries has dared to see farther than other men, H.Stern launches a collection that enhances the female brightness in space.
In the distant 15th and 16th centuries, Copernicus (1473-1543) used to dedicate his life to observing the sky with the naked eye. Based on what he saw, he defended by himself the heliocentric theory, which says that the Sun was the center of the universe and the other stars revolved around it. But at the time the entire world would rather believe it was the Earth which was the center of the universe and the sun and other planets were revolving around it.
The heliocentric theory of Copernicus was only confirmed a century later, when another genius of astronomy, Galileo Galilei improved his spyglass into a telescope and enhanced the exploration of the sky enabling to show the skeptics that the Sun was, in fact, our central star.
Although he has not lived long enough to see his theory to be scientifically confirmed, Copernicus was able to publish it in his last year of life, under the title “On the Revolutions of Heavenly Spheres” – a study on the planets movements in their orbits.
Jewelry emerged in the shape of hollow spheres, formed by golden nets and stars of Noble Gold with diamonds. The collection includes rings in three sizes, long earrings and pendant in which the beads hangs from delicate yellow gold chains.
